Bonivital Bolts in action at Showcase weekend tourney

Bonivital Softball's AA Bolts were in action for the first time Friday night at the Showcase Weekend.

The June 16-18 tournament at Buhler Rec Complex in Transcona is the only competition for AA teams prior to the Provincial Championships in Crystal City in August. Teams must compete in the Showcase Weekend to be able to play in Provincials.

The AA program consists of players from their respective 'A' level teams who are also competing in the higher AA level. Bonivital Softball held tryouts early in the year to select its AA teams.

U17 and U15 AA teams were playing Friday night at Buhler.
