Beginner Pitching /Catching Clinic - Minimum 8 required

Clinic is being run by former AAA Lightning Pitcher Bryndis Namaka, and Holly Welbourne.
Clinic is for Pitchers and Catchers with little or no experience. Perfect for trying out to see if interested.
Low cost for this reason.

Clinic Details:
- Pitchers will need someone to catch for them. Catchers will be provided with gear.
- 8 sessions
Mondays and/or Tuesdays at Ecole Guyot 400 Willowlake
Mondays starting Jan 5, 12, 19, 26 (no sessions Feb. 2 or 9). Feb. 16, 23, Mar. 2, and 9
Tuesdays starting Jan 6, 13, 20, 27, Feb. 3, 10, 17, 24
You may choose one or both dates.
- $80 registration fee per athlete per session
- Bring water bottle, runners and equipment.
There needs to be a minimum of 8 participants in each clinic. If not, one may be cancelled.

BIRTH YEARS 2009 - 2015
Pitching portion is being run by Megan Johnston, former AAA player, current AAA coach and CanPitch Certified.
Clinic is for Pitchers and Catchers who have had experience pitching and catching regularly in league games. It is recommended if you only pitched very occasionally with no further pitching lessons, to take the beginner pitching and catching clinic. Second year U11's (born 2015) must have pitched regularly in first year OR have taken private lessons

- Pitchers will need someone to catch for them. Gear will be supplied for catchers who don't have any.

- Mondays 6:30 - 7:45 at Ecole St. Germain 77 John Forsythe Ave.

Clinic will be run by current U15AAA Lightning coaches Jenae Russel and Maddy Lyburn.
Clinic is geared for those who have a solid foundation of the basic skills. Drills will be tailored at a higher level. Skill development will include fielding, running, and hitting. Beneficial if played AA last season.

- 8 x 1 hour and 15 minute sessions
- Tuesdays starting Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27, Feb. 3, 10, 17, 24

Clinic is geared to maintaining and building on basic skills. Fun and development is a focus. Open to all skill levels. Second year U9 players welcome.

Hitting Clinic - Minimum 6 required. Maximum 8.
Wednesday U11/U13 6:30 to 7:30pm
Wednesday U15/U17 7:45 to 8:45pm
Saturday U11/U13 9:00 to 10:00am
Saturday U15/U17 10:15 to 11:15am
Players who play A/AA will have priority registration over AAA players. Please email bvsapresident@gmail.com if you play AAA.
This clinic will teach you the proper technique for hitting when you are up at the plate.
Rylee Konowalchuk is the instructor. Rylee is an established softball catcher/player with exceptional skill development. She is currently an instructor at the Softball Academy
She grew up in Winnipeg, MB playing for the Smitty Terminators and earned the Best Catcher award at the Canadian Nationals and named Manitoba Player of the year. Her collegiate carrier began at Daytona State College in Florida and graduated with her Associate of Arts degree with honors. She then played for NCAA division 2 schools at Flagler College in Florida and then in North Carolina at Lees-McRae College where she graduated with honors and earned All-Conference Catcher recognition.
Rylee will bring with her a wealth of knowledge and experience and will help our athletes develop their hitting techniques to a higher level.
We are thrilled to have Rylee join our Bonivital team to help continue growing and developing our young athletes.
